The Lionel Newark Pullman Car No. 2434 was cataloged from 1954 until 1958 and was available for separate sale in 1959. The car body and roof are painted SILVER and it has RED heat-stamped lettering. This car is lighted by two lamps that are held in place by metal brackets that are also used to hold the roof to the body. There are people silhouettes on the interior window inserts. It came with Type IV die-cast four-wheel passenger trucks equipped with magnetic couplers. There are no variations.
All of the 2400 Series Passenger Cars were designed for use on O27 Gauge track, but they will work equally well on the wider radius of O Gauge track. |
