Complete units, along with the posters, came with four connecting wires, a No. 90 Controller, a "D" size battery, and an instruction sheet that came in a manila envelope with the number "257-14" printed on it. There are three different instruction sheets that were issued. One designated 257-16 and dated 4-56, uses YELLOW paper with BLACK ink. The other two use WHITE paper with DARK BLUE ink. These are numbered 257-20, and one is dated 6-56, and other was issued 8-56. There are three variations:
Variation A: MAROON base with DARK GREEN roof.
Variation B: BROWN base with DARK GREEN roof.
Variation C: KELLY GREEN roof. This color of roof has been found on both the MAROON and BROWN color bases. Note that these roofs can be interchanged with those issued with No. 256 and No. 356.
