The Lionel LTC Lockon was available from 1950 through the end of the Post War Period in 1969, with only 1967 as the sole year that it was not available. Serving the same purpose as the CTC Lockon, this version has a light that lights up when ever power was being supplied to the track. The instruction sheets that we’ve seen call for a No. L363 lamp, but we recommend a No. L1445 lamp because of the extended voltage range and the fact that it will not get as hot.
The LTC clips to the side of the track to provide electrical connection. Two binding posts are used to wire the transformer to this lockon. |
