The Lionel
Wabash GP-7 No. 2339 was issued in 1957 on and unpainted BLUE body that was painted GRAY and WHITE with a Wabash railroad herald decal on the sides of the cab and WHITE heat-stamped lettering. This engine was equipped with Magnetraction, a horn that was operated by a D Cell battery, a three position directional unit whose control lever was adjustable from underneath the sheet-metal chassis, and single vertical worm drive motor that powers two axles. The body was lighted at both ends that have operating couplers. There are two variations:

Variation A: ROYAL BLUE body.

Variation B: NAVY BLUE body.

This diesel was issued with O Gauge sets and is similar to No. 2337 except that it has operating couplers. All of the Lionel GP-7 units will operate equally well on O Gauge and O27 Gauge track.
