Lionel Trains GP-9 DieselsThe Lionel Northern Pacific GP-9 No. 2349 would be produced on a painted BLACK body with painted GOLD and RED rubber-stamped striping and heat-stamped lettering in 1959 and 1960.

This engine was equipped a horn that was operated by a D Cell battery, a three position directional unit whose control lever was adjustable from underneath the chassis, and a single vertical worm drive motor that powers two axles that utilize magnatraction. The body was lighted at both ends that have operating disc couplers. Reproduction shells have silk-screened lettering.
