This flat car was created on a GRAY painted die-cast frame with two brake wheels and end hand rails. It was equipped Type 3 staple-end trucks with electronic coil couplers. Most of these cars have "LIONEL LINES" rubber-stamped on the sides in serif lettering. There are three variations: |
Variation A: Has three blackened pressed metal pipes that show lengthwise markings on the inside of the pipes. Reproductions of these pipes exist, but they are machined, and do not have these interior markings. 1946 production |
