The 2000 Series Pullman CarsThe Pullman Car No. 2440 produced in 1946 and 1947. The car body is of sheet-metal construction and was painted SLATE GREEN, the roof was DARK GREEN and it has a CREAM painted windows and doors. This car is lighted and there are clear window inserts that do not have people silhouettes. It came with staple-end trucks equipped with electronic coil couplers. There are two variations:

Variation A: Has SILVER rubber-stamped lettering and Type 1c trucks with early electronic couplers. 1946 production.

Variation B: Has WHITE heat-stamped lettering and Type 3b trucks. 1947 production.
