The Lionel Columbia Type 2-4-2-Locomotive No. 245 was issued uncataloged in 1959. Produced on a painted BLACK Type VII body with WHITE heat-stamped number on the cab, it came with Magnetraction and a two position directional control. There were weights added to the front and the rear of this locomotive to aid in its tractive pulling power. This is only Scout Type locomotive that came with Magnetraction and weights. It was lighted and has a headlight lens and came with a No. 1130T streamlined tender that was equipped with AAR trucks with one disc coupler. There are no variations.

This locomotive was designed to work on O27 Gauge track and it will also run on the wider radius of O Gauge track.
