Lionel Columbia Type 2-4-2-Locomotive No. 250 was produced for one year in 1957. Equipped with a three position directional unit whose control lever points down, the motor was mounted in a Type II boiler. Because the boiler is plastic, this engine came with weights in the front and the rear to enhance its tractive effort. This locomotive has a RED ORANGE stripe and heat-stamped lettering on both the engine and the "PENNSYLVANIA" tender. It was equipped with a headlight and headlight lens in the locomotive and the No. 250T tender came with AAR trucks with one disc coupler. |
