The Lionel Trains No. 2560 Crane CarThe Lionel Lines Crane Car No. 2560 is a modified post-war version of the pre-war No. 2660 that was first issued in 1946 and was available for one additional year.

Produced on a sheet metal frame and cab that was painted YELLOW with a RED roof, it was rubber-stamped "LIONEL / LINES" and "2560" with a circled "L".

This car came with staple-end trucks equipped with electronic coil couplers. There are three variations of this car:

Variation A: has a BLACK crane boom that is inscribed "LIONEL CRANE" on the sides. 1946
Variation B: had a BROWN crane boom that is inscribed "LIONEL CRANE" on the sides. 1946
Variation C: has a GREEN crane boom that is inscribed "LIONEL CRANE" on the sides. 1947
