The Water Tank No. 30 was produced from 1947 until 1950. The tank spout would be lowered by remote control. Two cap nuts hold the roof to the tank and these provide the ground and electrical wiring that activates the spout. The earliest versions of this water tank would be the contemporaries of the No. 38, but would not have the internal pump to move water, and they have the number "30" rubber-stamped onto the bottom of the base. Later versions would have the number "38" cast into this base.

There are five variations of this tank. Some of these variations have to do with the fact that the earlier variations were double walled with a piece of opaque paper on the inside of the inner wall to conceal the electrical wiring, while later variations would be single walled. All of these tanks are a translucent AMBER color. Other variations include differences in the color of the roof which was either RED, LIGHT GRAY, or DARK GRAY, and the color of the washers beneath the cap nuts on the roof (either BLACK rubber, or RED fiber).

This tank was not designed to hold water as was the No. 38.

Dimensions: 6" x 6" base, 10-1/8"high.
