The Lionel Arch Under Bridge No. 332 came in kit form and had to be assembled by the purchaser. The main components of this kit consisted of BLACK painted metal plate, two arch spans, two end pieces, and a center brace. Accompanying these components was a parts packet that included six tie rods (No. 332-7), six nuts (No. 282-82), and instructions for assembly.
This bridge was available from 1959 until 1966. During this period there would be three variations that are mainly based on changes to the box:
Variation A: YELLOW box with double circled "L" part No. 332-11. Included parts envelope No. 332-15 and an instruction sheet that was erroneously numbered 322-16 and is dated 9-59. A picture of this sheet is shown below. Produced in 1959.
Variation B: ORANGE box with double circled "L." Came with a corrected instruction sheet No. 332-16 dated 9-59. Produced from 1960 - 1965.
Variation C: WHITE Hillside, N.J. box without double circled "L." Came with glued shut WHITE parts envelope No. 332-14 and an instruction sheet No. 332-16 dated 5/66. Produced in 1966.
