LIONEL TRAINS OPERATING HORSE CIRCUS CAR No. 3366 |
Courtesy of R. Powell Collection |
The Operating Horse Circus Car No. 3366 would unload horses into the corral and the vibrator located in the corral would load them back again into the car. Similar to No. 3356. |
Produced from 1959 until 1961, this car came with bar-end trucks and tabbed couplers. Like the No. 57 AEC Unit, Lionel had a problem with the WHITE plastic turning a CREME color when exposed to the elements. A premium is paid today for cars that are bright WHITE. The car came with nine horses that were operated with the use of a 6019 or UCS track section that was located in front of the platform. There are no variations. Lionel would manufacture a similar car that was not operating: No. 6376. |
