The Pennsylvania Operating Box Car No. 3484 was produced only in 1953 and came with TUSCAN painted Single-Block doors on a TUSCAN painted Type I body that has WHITE heat-stamped lettering and "NEW 5-53" date. Equipped with bar-end trucks that have magnetic couplers.

Some chemically altered GREEN cars have been observed so the collector should be cautious of these.

In late 1953 Lionel produced the figure with a painted flesh tones. Because of the interchangeability of these figures no variations are listed for this car.
