The Operating TV Monitor Car No. 3545 was built around a BLACK flat car mold No. 6511-2 and used the upper mold of the No. 3540 Radar Car that was modified for a different purpose. The monitor would show a scene of a Santa Fe diesel traveling down the tracks and the screen in front of the seated attendent would light up. The monitor moved by means of a rubber band that is frequently found in melted condition. This car was available for two years: 1961 and 1962, and came with early AAR trucks with disc couplers. There are no known variations.
