The Great Northern Snow Blower No. 58 was available from 1959 until 1961. This small motorized unit has an unpainted GREEN body with a WHITE painted cab sides and hand rails, with a GREEN Great Northern emblem heat-stamped on the cab. A single vertical worm drive motor is controlled by a 3-position direction unit whose control lever is adjustable on the left side of the engine. There is a headlight lens at each end of this Vulcan Unit, but no interior light. It has a magnetic rear coupler with tab. The snow blower rotates as the unit is moving. The usual problem of broken or missing window struts also plague this unit.
This small motorized engine is highly prised by collectors today. There are no variations.
