The Lionel Single Dome Tank CarsThe Sunoco Single Dome Tank Car No. 6015 was produced in 1954 and 1955 with a chemically blackened frame that has bar-end trucks. Some late 1955 production cars have tabbed couplers. Car graphics were applied with a rubber stamp and are prone to wear easily. Caution should be used when cleaning this car. There are three variations:

Variation A: Lionel used up the remaining GRAY car bodies of the No. 6035 by painting them YELLOW. This is the rarest of the variations. Early 1954 release.

Variation B: MEDIUM YELLOW car body.
