The Lionel SP Type CaboosesThe Lionel Lines Caboose No. 6017-85 was produced in 1958 on Type 2 die and was issued in the Marine Corps Set No. 1595. LIGHT GRAY painted plastic SP Type body with BLACK heat-stamped lettering. Note that only the number "6017" appears on the sides of the car. The number "6017-85" appears on the box ends. A blackened sheet metal chassis with hand rails fastens to the body with tabs. This caboose came AAR trucks with one disc coupler. There are no variations.
