Remote Control Track Section No. 6019 was used with O27 track and was produced from 1948 up until the end of the Post War Period in 1969.

Early sections were SILVER in color, while those issued after would be chemically blackened. This accounts for the two variations:

Variation A: The track has a chrome or SILVER finish. Produced in 1948.

Variation B: The track has been chemically blackened. Produced 1949-1969.

We’ve illustrated both sections above. A four line flat cable connected the track to its controller that performed both the uncoupling and unloading functions for all of Lionel’s rolling stock that were equipped with either electronic coil or magnetic operating couplers.
