The Lionel 6014 Series Box CarsThe Airex Box Car No. 6044 was listed in the Advance Catalogs of 1959 and 1960. It used a Type I body and is almost always found with arch bar trucks equipped with solid non-operating couplers.

There are four variations, of which Variation A and D are scarce and somewhat difficult to find:

Variation A: DARK BLUE/PURPLE car that has WHITE and YELLOW lettering.
Variation B: MEDIUM BLUE car with WHITE and YELLOW lettering.
Variation C: LIGHT BLUE car with WHITE and YELLOW lettering.
Variation D: TEAL BLUE car with WHITE and ORANGE lettering.
