The Lionel Jersey Central No. 611 Switcher was available in 1957 and 1958. Produced on a ORANGE and BLUE body with WHITE and BLUE heat stamped lettering. This diesel had a BLACK sheet metal frame, two solid non-operating couplers, ornamental horn and bell, light, Type IID motor with one axle Magnetraction, and was equipped with a three position directional unit whose control lever was adjustable from the bottom of the body. There are no variations.

This engine will run equally well on both O and O27 gauge track.
