Lionel Trains Girder Bridge Flat Car No. 6418Girder Bridge Car No. 6418 was produced between 1955 and 1957 on a die-cast chassis with no number on the sides. However, early cars would have the number imprinted on the underside, but when Lionel introduced the Transformer Car No. 6518 in 1956 that used the same chassis, this number had to be removed. All subsequent editions would have the number of the car on the load that it carried. This car had bar-end trucks and the latter issues would have tabbed couplers. There are nine variations of this car:

Note: Due to the size of this car it will only operate of O Gauge track, and even then, the overhang is such that I would recommend that it be used on 072 track.
