The Lionel N5C Porthole Type CaboosesThe Lionel Lines N5C Porthole Caboose No. 6427 was first available in 1954 and was produced until 1960. It came with bar-end trucks, and from 1954-55 without tabbed couplers in boxes numbered 6427, and from 1956-60 with tabbed couplers in boxes labeled 6427-1. These variations do not relate to the rarity of this caboose.
