No. 6464-225 - Southern Pacific Overnight box car was available from 1954 until 1956. It was produced on painted BLACK body that has WHITE and YELLOW rubber stamped lettering.

This car is numbered "6464225" and has the SP in WHITE with the Southern Pacific herald in YELLOW to the left side and a RED and YELLOW overnight symbol to the right side.

Note: The above pictured car has the WHITE color substituted for the YELLOW that was used on the rubber-stamp on the Southern Pacific herald and the "OVERNIGHT" lettering. This is a factory error.

This box car came with bar-end trucks that have magnetic couplers. There are three variations:

Variation A: Produced in a Type I body. A rare variation.

Variation B: Produced on a Type IIA body that has a semi-gloss finish.

Variation C: Produced on a Type IIA body that has a flat finish.
