Lionel Trains Bulkhead Flat Car No. 6467The Bulkhead Car No. 6467 was erroneously called a "Miscellaneous Car" by Lionel and was available only in 1956. Produced on Flat Car chassis mold No. 6511-2 with WHITE heat-stamped lettering, this car came with bar-end trucks equipped with tabbed couplers. This car is sometimes incorrectly found with a "Liquefied Gases" cylinder. This cylinder is properly used only on No. 6469.

Bulkhead Car No. 6467

Lionel created special taller mounting plates for the trucks for this car. The reason for this was that these plates also held the ends of the bulkheads in place and the bulkhead angle bars latched into a stake hole. Each bulkhead has a brake wheel. This is in addition to the regular brake wheel that is mounted on the chassis.
