Lionel 6456 Series Hopper CarsThe Lehigh Valley Hopper Car No. 6476-135 was cataloged in 1964 until 1966 and again in 1968. Produced on a Type VI LIGHT YELLOW plastic body that has BLACK heat-stamped lettering, this hopper car shows the number "25000" on the sides of the car and it is sometimes incorrectly numbered as "6076" or "6176." Almost all of the 6476 cars are distinguished by the fact that they have AAR trucks with operating couplers at both ends, but there is no brake wheel. There are two variations:

Variation A: ORANGE picture box that reads "No. 6476-135 / LIONEL / HOPPER CAR" on the ends. 1964-66 Production.

Variation B: Haggerstown checkerboard box, produced in 1968 that is rubber-stamped on one end only "6476-135."
