The Highway Lamp Post No. 64 was available from 1945 until 1949. Made from die-cast metal it is very fragile. An added problem is the lamp that this post used. It was No. L452W that originally came in its own box that was labeled "No. 64-15 14V OPAL," and despite this label, it is rated at 12 volts. If you hook this lamp up to the track voltage with the use of a CTC Connector it won’t last very long. The best way to power this lamp is with an accessory circuit, especially one that has variable voltage that would allow for only 10 volts of current.

This lamp is powered by push-in clips that accepted the wire ends. These clips are shown on the left side in the picture of the base to the right. Late editions came with wires and did not use these clips. This change is not significant enough to denote a variation.

Dimensions: 6-3/4 inches high.
