The Crate Car No. 6821 was produced on a 6424-11, Die 3 and Die 4 mold and was cast in RED plastic. It used the same crate structure that was used on the No. 3444 "Cop & Hobo" animated gondola car. It came with early AAR trucks and disc couplers. Incorrectly shown in the catalogs with the number to the right of the "LIONEL" inscription on the side. The B Variation uses a 6511-2 mold. This car was available in 1959 and 1960.
