The Lionel U.S.M.C. Rescue Unit Work Caboose No. 6824 was only available in 1960 as part of the No. 1805 "Land-Sea-Air" gift pack. There is no box for this car, but boxes have been found that have been relabeled for this car. If anyone knows if these boxes are an original Lionel production, as is illustrated to the right, we would like to hear from you. This work caboose was created on a OLIVE DRAB sheet metal frame with tool boxes, it came with a DARK BLUE rescue worker, WHITE oxygen tank unit and stretchers. It is difficult to find complete today and came with early AAR trucks, and one disc coupler. There are no variations.
