Lionel Ticket Booth No. 970The Lionel Ticket Booth No. 970 was desinged to Lionel’s specifications by Color Process Co., Inc. of Philadelphia, PA and manufactured by United Container Corporation. It was available from 1958 until 1960.

This unusual item was shipped folded flat in a carton numbered 3592-1 and folded out into a ticket booth that was large enough for a small child to fit inside. Lionel issued an instruction sheet titled "LIONEL TICKET OFFICE" on an 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of white paper that illustrated how to assemble the booth.

No. 970 Box

This booth was made out of cardboard that is colored RED, GREEN and WHITE with a "LIONELVILLE" sign over the ticket booth opening. A facsimily of a train schedule board is presented as a black board on the front of the booth where inbound and outbound trains could be listed. There are no variations.
