Lionel Trains Baby Ruth Box Car No. X6014 Variaion D

The Lionel 6014 Series Box CarsThe Baby Ruth Box Car No. X6014 was first issued in 1951 on a Type I body usually with solid BLACK lettering, and a PRR railroad herald to the left of the doors and magnetic couplers except (D) issued after 1954. There are four variations:

Variation A: Has a WHITE body with BLACK lettering and came with staple-end trucks. Issued in 1951.
Variation B: Has a FLAT WHITE body with BLACK lettering and came with bar-end trucks. Issued in 1951 and 1952.
Variation C: Has a SHINY WHITE body with BLACK lettering and came with bar-end trucks. Issued in 1953.
Variation D: Has a RED body with WHITE lettering and came with bar-end trucks and tabbed couplers after 1954. Issued in 1954 to 1956.
