The FB-8 Flock of Birds was issued by Bachmann in 1950 in dealer boxes that contain 12 bags that have eight birds in each bag. The birds were colored BLUE, RED, and YELLOW, and aside from the round circular stand to support them, they were the same birds that were used on the CBR Bird Bath and the GT-1 Garden Trellis.
There are two types of bags. One was made of clear cellophane and the other has an illustration of the birds printed on it (shown to the right).
Today, these bags have become brittle from exposure to the elements and should be handled with extreme care.
