Trailer Roof Vent (Chimney)
This is the part that is always missing from this trailer. It should always be the same color as the walls. There is no reproduction part made.

Trailer Awning
Trailer Awning
The awning is held on to the right side wall with three pins indicated by the arrows. If two of these are broken the awning will not stay in place without the use of glue. There is no replacement part available.

Trailer Adhesive Curtains

Adhesive Curtains
The Trailer came with a set of adhesive curtains that were applied to the inside windows and doors.

The Problem With Adhesive Curtains
Dirty Trailer WindowThe trailer came with window curtains to be installed on this item. The problem with these curtains is that Bachmann manufactured them so that the adhesive covers one side of the entire window. When these are applied to the inside walls this adhesive attracts dust and debris. After some time they look really bad as is shown in the picture to the left. The trailer was not the only kit in which Bachmann used this type of adhesive curtain. The Split Level House is another example. You would be better off not applying these curtains and the value of the kit would be enhanced if they remained on the original sheet that came with the kit (shown to the right).

In 1984, this kit was the second one manufactured under license from Bachmann by KING DISTRIBUTING. Like all of the kits that they made, they were housed in a heavy corrugated box to protect their contents. The versions issued are listed to the right.
