The Newsstand with Whistle No. 118 was available in 1957 and 1958. It used a whistle unit that was like those that were used in the Lionel locomotive tenders. This whistle was triggered by a No. 90 momentary switch. There are four wiring connections on the bottom.
This accessory has a BROWN plastic base with a bench on one side of a YELLOW plastic structure with a SILVER roof and uses a bayonet type bulb for interior illumination. There are no variations.
