The Lionel 1041 Transformer was available in 1945 and 1946. It generated 60 Watts of power and would control one train. It does have a built-in circuit breaker and it came with a horn/whistle control.

This transformer, along with the No. 1042 and No. 1241 were the first issues by Lionel to have a built in directional and whistle control. Because of this, these transformers were the first to show the "Multi-Control" designation. There are no variations.
