The Lionel Tunnel No. 121 to this day has not been confirmed as a Lionel production item. While they were wider and taller than the No. 119 Tunnel, and because none of these tunnels were never stamped with any Lionel identification, it is believed that they were manufactured by Life-Like for Lionel. It is known that Lionel shipped these tunnels in quantities of six that were packaged in a box. This tunnel that was cataloged from 1959 until 1966.

There are no known variations and too few sales to establish a value for this accessory. What ever value it finds, there is no doubt that this item is so rare that Greenberg can't establish a value because of the lack of identification and a numbered box. In the past Greenberg has questioned the validity of its manufacture even though it is shown in the consumer catalogs.
