Lionel Trains FA AA Unit DieselsThe Lionel Texas Special FA No. 210 was only available in 1958. Equipped with two axle Magnetraction, this diesel did not have a horn, but the powered unit had a light, and was equipped with a three position directional unit whose control lever was adjustable from the top of the body. A single vertical worm drive Type IIE motor powers two axles. The lettering was heat-stamped on these units and the sheet metal chassis have solid non-operating couplers.

In addition to the regular production, this diesel headed up several of the uncataloged sets that were available through Sears. There are no variations.

No. 210 Dummy Unit Box End

All of the Lionel Alco FA units are designed to work on the tighter radius of O27 Gauge track, but they will run equally well on O Gauge track.
