The Observation Car No. 2443 was available from 1946 until 1948. The car body is of sheet-metal construction and was painted BROWN and it has a GRAY painted windows and doors. This car is lighted and there are clear window inserts that do not have people silhouettes. It came with staple-end trucks equipped with one electronic coil coupler. There are two variations:

Variation A: Has SILVER rubber-stamped lettering. 1946 production.

Variation B: Has WHITE heat-stamped lettering. 1947-48 production.
