Lionel Trains Operating Freight Station No. 356The Freight Station No. 256 was available from 1950 until 1953. But it was not until 1952 that it was available with adhesive poster signs that went on the structure. The signs were:

These posters, along with two 81-32 connecting wires came in a in a manila envelope No. 256-42. The connecting wires were inserted into two binding posts on the bottom of this station that was illuminated by one No. L363 lamp. It came with three billboards that attached to the fence. For details showing all of the signs that Lionel produced see No. 156. There are two variations:

Variation B: KELLY GREEN roof. Note that these roofs can be interchanged with those issued with No. 257 and No. 356.
