The Missouri Pacific Lines Operating Box Car No. 3494-150 was available only in 1956 on a GRAY unpainted Type IIB body that has BLUE painted upper and lower side bands and with unpainted YELLOW Multi-Block doors.
The heat-stamped lettering was BLACK on GRAY and WHITE on BLUE. The 5/8 inch high stylized "Eagle," the Missouri Pacific Lines seal, and the date "NEW 3-54" are to the left of the door with "XME" at the lower right.
Came with a metal brake wheel and bar-end trucks with magnetic tabbed couplers. Operating plunger is triggered by a No. 6019 or UCS Track Section and the man pops out as the door opens. While there are many variations of the No. 6464-150 Box Car, only one of these was used for this operating car. |
