LIONEL TRAINS SAVINGS BANK BOX CAR No. 6050
The Lionel Savings Bank Box Car No. 6050 has a coin slot in the top that allowed it to be used as a bank. Heat-stamped with GREEN and RED lettering, it was available only in 1961. Nonetheless, this car has three variations: Variation A: Uses a Type I body with a built date: BUILT BY / LIONEL. Variation B: Uses a Type I body with a built date: BLT BY / LIONEL. Variation C: Is the same as Variation B except that it was created on a Type IIa body.
