The Lionel Union Pacific No. 613 Switcher was produced only in 1958 on a YELLOW body that was painted GRAY with DARK RED heat stamped lettering. The inscription on the cab was different on the two sides. The right side said "ROAD OF The Streamliners," and the left side read "SERVES ALL THE WEST." This diesel had a BLACK sheet metal frame, two solid non-operating couplers, ornamental horn and bell, Type IIE motor with two axle Magnetraction, and was equipped with a three position directional unit whose control lever was adjustable from the bottom of the body. There are no variations.
This engine will run equally well on both O and O27 gauge track. |
