The Toy Train Operating Society Hopper No. 6167-1967 was produced uncataloged for their 1967 National Convention. Produced on a OLIVE DRAB body, the car was heat-stamped in GOLD with a design by Louis H. Hertz.

This car was numbered incorrectly. The "6167" designation properly describes an SP Type caboose. This hopper car used a Type VI body and the proper designation for this body would be "6176." The "7" and "6" digits were, obviously, transposed in error! All hopper cars with the "6176" number, even the unlettered OLIVE DRAB version, have late AAR trucks one operating disc coupler and one solid non-operating coupler. There are no variations.
