Lionel Trains Fort Knox Gold Reserve Box Car No. 6445The Fort Knox Gold Reserve Car No. 6445 was derived from the mold that Lionel used for the No. 3435 Operating Aquarium Car. Catalogued from 1960 until 1963, it would have BLACK heat-stamped lettering and early AAR trucks equipped with disc couplers. The car is clear plastic that is painted SILVER, except for the windows that show the gold bullion load inside. There are screens that cover the openings on the ends, and this distinguishes this car from the Aquarium Car.
