The Toy Train Operating Society Hopper Car No. 6476-1 was produced on a Type VI body for their 1969 National Convention. This GRAY car has BLUE heat-stamped lettering, and came with late AAR trucks that has one operating disc coupler, and one solid non-operating coupler. There were 493 of these cars that were produced. There are no variations. |
There were three cars that Lionel produced for this convention. The others are the No. 6057 and No. 6257 and both of these are SP Type cabooses. All of these cars were designed by Bill Harris who is the founder of TTOS. |
