The Erie Bay Window Type CabooseThe Erie Bay Window Caboose No. 6517-75 was only found in the 1966 Accessory catalog and was not displayed in the Consumer catalog for this year. Did Lionel really want to sell this caboose? The result is that this car is one of the rarest of those issued during the Post War Era.

Painted RED body with WHITE rubber-stamped lettering it only shows the number "C301" on the sides. It is most often found with the correct production number "6517-75 / LIONEL" rubber-stamped on the bottom.

It was equipped with metal passenger trucks and operating couplers at both ends. There are two variations:

Variation A: With a painted MEDIUM RED body.
