New England Ranch House

The New England Ranch House was first available in 1954 under the designation MH-2. In 1956, the number was changed to 1701 and it sported a new one-piece box. Ten years later the number was changed again to 1808 and this is the most difficult box to obtain because it was only available for five years. When the 1912 two-piece box came out in 1971, it showed a photograph of the house on the top.

There is a wide variety of colors that this house was issued in. We’ve listed these below in order of rarity, with the most difficult to obtain listed first, along with the parts that are most often broken or missing from this dwelling.

New England Ranch House Porch

Porch
The New England Ranch House Porch was colored TAN or WHITE and is almost always found with the pins broken. Note the lack of these pins in the locations that are indicated by the black circles in the picture to the left. The house will go together fine without these pins. This part is not available as a reproduction.

New England Ranch House TV Antenna

Television Antenna
This antenna is the most delicate one that Bachmann made for any of their structures and is easily lost or broken. The two pins fit into the chimney half. Fortunately, this part is reproduced in WHITE and TAN.

New England Ranch House Chimney Half

Chimney Half
This part is needed to complete the chimney on this house. The two holes are there for the mounting of the television antenna. This part is also reproduced in WHITE and TAN colors.
