The telephone booth was first available in 1959 and was issued with the number 1090 in dealer boxes of one dozen. Sixteen years later Bachmann would put this telephone booth in the very desirable Park Assortment. This later release of the booth would not have the shelf or hanging phone book. The only color combination that was available was BLUE walls and WHITE roof & base, or with these colors reversed.
"Life‐Like" produced a telephone booth that is very similar to those manufactured by Bachmann. Pictured to the right is an example with a GREEN base and SILVER roof. We alao have a YELLOW booth and SILVER roof and base available here. These booths seem to us to be more difficult to find than those that were made by Bachmann.
