Lionel Trains Water Tank No. 138 A Variation

Lionel Trains Water Tank No. 138The Water Tank No. 138 has two variations:

Variation A was only available in 1953, and has a GRAY plastic top.

Variation B was available from 1954 until 1957, and has an ORANGE plastic roof.

This accessory would lower the water spout remotely, but unlike the No. 30 and No. 38, there are no screw holes for the screws that hold the roof down, and the tank is single walled and was not designed to hold water.

Dimensions: 6-1/8" x 6-1/8" base, 10-1/8"high.
