Lionel Trains Culvert Unloading Station No. 346The Culvert Unloading Station No. 346 was produced for Sears in 1964-65. It is the same as No. 345 except that it is manually operated by a crank that was on top of the platform. This accessory is uncataloged and was offered to the mail order and department store trade in their economically priced sets. It is known to have been included in one Sears set in 1964 and two Sears sets in 1965.

All of these Sears sets came with a No. 6342 gondola car that have a BLACK ramp that was designed to carry these culverts. It is Variation C of this car that was included with these loaders, and this variation has no "NEW 2-49" date printed on the sides. This car did have its own box that was contained within the set box that is pictured above.

This accessory came with one of two different instruction sheets numbered 346-21. Both have black print on white paper and are dated "8/64" and "8/65" respectively.

Dimensions: The base was metal and was 12-1/4 inches long, 9-1/2 inches wide, and 8-1/4 inches high.
